Hopeing he does't put a crimp on my turkey season.
I tore all 3 ligaments in my ankle last November. Thought I was good to go until I rolled it again turkey hunting. It hurts like the dickens and is swelled up like an elephant leg. LOL that hasn't kept me from hunting.
It hurts and swells, but just keep putting one foot in front of the other and go after the birds.
Killed #3 this morning. Will post when I get out of here.
I want to be ready to hunt Colorado the first of may. Alabama flat lands hurt, Colorado hmmmmmm

Great news Doc is a turkey hunter. New fancy brace will fit in my boots. So he says, waiting to see it.
Debated cast, but didn't want to mess up turkey season. Need to give it time to heal he said. Got to take it easy and watch my step in the woods he said. Rehab, ice, and elevation for now.
Small world another friend of mine is taking the Dr and his son hunting Wed morning.

Good news! Hopefully it'll heal quickly and won't give you fits in Colorado.
That's great news. I would have tried to put it off until after turkey season if surgery was needed.
Dont find many doctors that are turkey hunters. Sounds like a good one. Hopefully you can make it all the way without any more problems. Dont push yourself though. You got 3 which is pretty good in my book.
It will feel 100% once the swelling goes down and it quits hurting.
Don't forget, my offer still stands on the May deal ;D

Ouch!!
I know hunting is important, but you only get the ankles you have, and there are hunting seasons later as well. Just make sure you do as the Dr says, and keep it easy. Nothing like having to kick yourself in the future, with a messed up ankle, which is REALLY torn up. Hope it heals quickly.
God Bless,
