what is all they hype about this call? is it really that good?

They sell for a decent amount. I never played one but it looks like the same pot as the HS Black Magic Aluminum call but with a glass playing surface. I will say that the Black Magic aluminum is a great sounding call for a mass produced call. One of my favorite calls in fact.

They are a great call, one of the better sounding production calls. I have hunted one in the past because of its high pitch. I replaced it in my vest with a crystal screamer but I would certainly hunt it again. Great little call!

My father and I both have the black widow. Over the last 15 years they have called in a ton of turkey's for us. It is my go to call when nothing else seems to work.
