I just bought a new Remington 870 SPS Turkey Mag , it came with brand X Red Dot scope and I would like to up grade to something different, maybe some type of reflex sight or maybe another red dot any suggestions ?

Take a look in the optics forum. Plenty of good choices just depends on your budget.
EOTech definitely worth a look.
Just be sure you look at the sight from the vantage point of the turkey in regards to glare. I have to use a Tenabrex filter on both my Trijicon Reflex II and Tri-Power. I love my Tri-Power. It has been discontinued but you can still find them on the web.
If you don't want to spend much money go with the one below. Only $72.00 & will do the job just as good. Only drawback is it does sit higher on the gun & a cheek rest is needed if you want your cheek to rest on the stock. Used the Truglo for two seasons with no issues. Others on this website have used them also. This forum is where I found out about how well they hold up. The other two sit lower on the gun so you probably won't need a cheek rest. The Fastfire is the smallest. The Ultradot has a little bit larger window than the Burris & the Truglo has the largest window. If you want to spend more go with a Burris FFIII or UltraDot LT. There are others but a lot of people use these. Best of luck with your choice.

I'm in a similar situation looking for a new red dot for my Benelli. I'll try not to hijack this thread, but seek feedback that will also help GeorgeNK. My experience, research, and questions for the group:
First, I also have heard concerns about glare as Silvestris noted. I had someone tell me they were hunting across the field from his buddy with a Fastfire and claimed they were seeing occasional sunlight reflections. Feel free to call BS, I wasn't there, but it does sound plausible.
Units I'm looking at
Bushnell Trophy 1x28 - This is what I had for probably a decade and loved it. Tons of features - multiple reticle shapes, colors, and MOA sizes, and brightness levels. It also has a deeper tube to avoid rain and glare, as well comes with a 1"+ extension tube you can add. The gun has seen it's share of abuse, and unfortunately the unit lost it's seal and now has moisture problems. I may very well buy it again. The downsides are it's a bit big and heavy, I don't use all different reticle colors and options, and the battery life wasn't great (not to mention it goes from working to not with virtually no dimming or other warning, maybe they all do). The price has come down significantly since I bought mine, and I'm unsure if that means it has less features or quality. It's categorized as a rifle scope, I don't know how that differs. It comes in black as well as camo, and at around $90-$110 I think it's a good unit.
Burris FastFire III - Popular recommendation on this site. Small and light weight. Has 3 brightness levels. Lots of different opinions on reticle size being too small or too large between the 3 and 8 MOA. Some opinions on the window being too small. Only comes in black. It sounds like it's fairly reliable and decent quality but there are some complaints. At $250, I would hope it would be decent. Questions - How is the battery life? What I really want to know most about is the included lens cover/rain guard. Would this solve concerns about glare? Any issues with moisture getting in between the guard and the lens? How does the guard fasten? Could it be knocked off easily going through the woods?
Eotech 512 - Another popular recommendation on this site, appears to be the expensive high quality recommendation. Comes in black and camo. Has brightness adjustment. Great battery life (600 hours std, 1000 hours lithium). Bigger and quite heavy. Questions - Is the brightness adjustment levels or a wide range? What about the potential for glare? Most importantly, what all does one get for spending a whopping $430?

I like the ff sights. I like the ff3 better than the 2. I ordered mine off ebay new for $200 free ship. That included the piccatinny mount. This was the 3moa dot for some reason when I ordered mine I consistently found the 8 MOA cheaper by around $10-15. Battery life is great 2 years on the factory battery witch I will change this year. I hunt almost every morning and most evenings around 45 days, I turn it on when I leave the truck and I never turn it off. Since it automatically turns off after 8 hours I believe. To me it's well worth the $$. I also have the weaver micro dot on a 870 20ga. It's been good on there, I had it on my 835 before I bought a fast fire for it.
