Ohio Eastern - 22 lb's, 1" spurs and a 13-13/16" beard that was partially damaged by a stray pellet. It made me sick when 9 and 10 inch strands of beard were coming out. That beard was easily 14+ inches before the pellet went through it.

Not the heaviest Eastern I've taken, but it had1-3/8" spurs, my longest. Also memorable as I shot it with my fathers 870 20 gauge just a few months before his passing.
2nd largest (pics of best one burned up in a house fire at my dads when I was in the corps)
1 1/4 in spurs, 10.5in beard

The Spurs in the second pic are 1-3/4" and are cool as hell. They are skinny at the base and just long and curved. They change colors 3 distinct times from black to red to white tipped. I killed that bird right off the roost and he gobbled like a damn man. It was still pretty dark when I got over to him and I would've bet you they were every bit of 2". I damn near fainted.

Not the heaviest but by far the best hooks. If I remember correctly they were 1.5. Only bird I've ever killed they they weren't ground off.

Maybe not my best bird ever by specs, but this was my biggest trophy so far. Worked very very hard for this wise old gobbler. Hunted him hard, and I knew it was him because he had a very identifiable missing tailfeather. Shoot, I even named him "Tommy Tailfeather."

Besides weight, and beard and spur length, I LOVE admiring their feathers. One of the world's most gorgeous creatures, no doubt about it. I feel bad for anybody who is disinterested in wildlife or chooses not to love and pursue these birds.
