Title: TRS-25 High mount or not
Post by: Muzzy61 on January 26, 2015, 12:57:50 PM
Think I'm going to put a Busnell TRS-25 on my Mossberg 838.
For those of you that have this red dot, do you have it on the high mount or mounted lower on the gun.
I'm not sure which would be best and would welcome opinions for those that have either.

I have the regular mount and still have to lift my head just a little bit.  I think the high mount would be to high.  But I like to burry my face on the stock.

Are you talking about the trs-25 high rise? If so that high mount is for an ar, all you need is a weaver rail and but that baby on there u need you face as low as possible for the best shooting form
