Hello fellow hunters! I have hunted from the time I was able to begin to learn to clean my dad's double barrel Ithaca shotgun. I am now 55 and one of my son's has engaged me to begin turkey hunting with him and he promises it will ruin my love for deer hunting. I have set out to dress up an old Mossberg 500 with a Jelly Head choke and had my first experience to begin to pattern her in. I marvel at the shots at 40 yards to a paper target with some Winchester XR 3" 5 shot; not too happy with the recoil but excited to see what may happen soon in the woods! I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I love my family, and I love the great outdoors He has so abundantly blessed us with here in the USA. I am looking forward to discovering how to turkey hunt and reading all the wealth of information on this site. :mycross: :mycross:
