Title: Need a good purr call
Post by: MiamiE on January 22, 2015, 05:13:51 PM
I have a nice slate call and short box that I can yelp and cluck with but I haven't quite mastered the cut and purr with it. I am thinking about investing in a good purr push/pin box. Any recommendations?

I was looking at this one by Knight and Hale although I hate buying commercialized calls. I am going to check out that link you posted now. Thanks!

So does Russell Beard of Beard Hunter Turkey Calls. Combine that with a water proof striker, that he sells, for those mornings when the slate gets slicked over with moisture, and you're set.
