I've read several posts asking what sling to use on steady grip stocks. I have a Quake The Claw sling with swivels and really like it. So the other day I came up with this. Not really a genius idea or anything but thought I'd share these pics on how I attached it to my gun so if you have a sling you're really partial to you can still use it. Used 550 paracord and you can YouTube how to weave it. Very simple and inexpensive. Looks good!
Great idea.
Curious if you have tried walking with it, and if the quick detachable swivel knocks or makes any noise on the stock?
God Bless,
David B.
When I put it on, especially with a coat, the swivel doesn't touch the stock. But if you are worried about it making noise you could just make a little longer paracord weave and shorten the sling.

I should also add that even though I haven't heard it hit against the stock, I haven't hunted with it since I done this. Walking thru the house is a little different than walking thru the woods.
