Dyed and stabilized black ash burl pot 3in copper - glass med. high pitched can get raspy if wanted ,,,comes with a one piece diamond wood striker ,,,, sweet lookin call ,,,with even better sound

Another good looking call. I am getting ready to stabilize a few calls. Do you rough turn the pot before you stabilize?

Thanks yes its sweet lookin soundin call this thing got bout 4 different shades color in it hard pick up in pics

80 % of the time yes I do rough out the pots saves on resin and vac time pic below shows some I just did I got clean up sound holes a bit ,, but still go lots wood to turn off some times they will warp a bit after stabilizing ,,,, dry blanks 12 to 24 hours before stabilizing and they will have less resin bleed out and come out pretty clean  like pics below ,,plus being roughed out it takes little less time for penetration ,,,,,, now turning blocks I will pre round but don't drill hole till stabilized

Thanks for the reply Mike. Got everything I need except a little better weather. loml is not willing to let me use the kitchen counter.
