I seen the guy on turkey thugs do it so I tried it too. Seems th3e birds here in Mo like it at daylight as well as 10 am. kinda hurts my throat getting the volume I think I need.

10-4; yeah, it does "stress" ye olde esophagus, for sure! I can't imagine trying to "muster" this, first thing in the AM; I even have a hard time getting a decent owl hoot w/my normal voice, if I haven't talked first... I normally practice in the truck over to my hunting spot to "warm up" first...
