Title: Mossberg 935 Hevi-13 7's Pattern Results
Post by: gobblerkiller on March 20, 2011, 05:30:58 PM
Went out today and sited in from Hevi-13 3.5 2.25 6's to 3.5 2.25 7's. After having my stock site not have enough adjustment to get on POI, I went and picked up a set of Williams Firesights. I ended up with 275, is this pretty good? I was using a Jelly Head. Thanks for looking!

That's about identical to what I got with the Jelly Head out of my 835.

That's a nice pattern.   :z-guntootsmiley:

Thanks guys for all the comments. Just concerned about the killing power at 50 yards with 7's. I know at 40 they were blowing clean through a .25 inch porcelain yard sign!

Looks good!  I just ordered a box of 3.5-2.25-6s and a box of 3.5-2.25-7s for my 835.  Can't wait to try em out!

This will put your doubts to rest at 50yds shooting 7's.  I'll almost guarantee that bird was shot at least at 45yds.  It was a long way, but I felt comfortable when I shot him he would drop.  He flopped like crazy, but he was dead before he hit the ground.

These box of shells are from this years lot. I purchased them down at the convention this year.

Congratulations! I too have a 935 and it's a patterning machine.

All my best to you this spring.

Thanks,
