thats not a 336 base.
for the 336 base you will need to have the gun either drilled to fit that specific base OR have the base drilled to fit your gun if it is already drilled and tapped.
Are there more than one 336? Do I have to match the base to my gun? That was my problem, trying to find out if a 336 was a 336 or if there different models. Thanks, Dave
336 base is a standard base so basically there is only one kind of them unlike a weaver style base

Thanks for your help, I thought that you would need a base to fit the shape of the Benelli.
Yes if you buy a 336 base you will have to drill your m2 to mount it in there. Then you can mount the ff3 to the 336
