Title: Installing Tru-Glo sights on a SBE2?
Post by: Ridge Rooster on January 04, 2015, 05:09:56 PM
For those of you that use them, do you place the end sight right up against the end bead or do you need the rib to have clearance above the bore for the sight to hold properly?

Thanks

I always have installed them flush up against both beads that way when I take them off for small game I have an exact location where to put them on for turkey season. It had always worked!

Not really familiar with how they clamp and the Benelli's rib at the end bead is solid without a space between the rib and the barrel. Didnt know if it needed a space below rib to clamp properly??

That is not a problem. The sights set down on the rib and you tighten 2 allen screws on the side of the sight, they are very secure. I have them on my Benelli and they work great!

Leave your front benelli bead on and put the true glo right behind it.
