Print Page - Spacer with Steady Grip stock ?

Title: Spacer with Steady Grip stock ?

I done some research but didn't get a clear answer. I just got my new steady grip stock in the mail today and installed it. Do I need a spacer between the reciever and stock? And do I need the little wedge that came with it?

dONT NEED THE SPACER BUT THE WEDGE FILLS IN BETWEEN STOCK AND TRIGGER GUARD . Dang cap locks

I've had people tell me the same thing about the space between the trigger guard and stock but mine doesn't have a space. It fits perfect. Could this be for different model benellis?
