That's awesome! What part of KY ? I've been bow hunting in KY myself. Greenup Co. Near Ashland in eastern ky.
Great Job Scott ! :icon_thumright:
Congrats!
I have never hunted them outside the spring but have been patterning some for this years winter hunt. Notice you mentioned using a full strut decoy. How do you use your decoys this time of the year?

Worth reading if your interested in a winter tactic.
I hunted Western KY this year for fall birds.

Interesting. Saw a large winter group with 5 strutters in it last week. Been seeing a group of 7 at the property I plan on hunting in January. May just take the DSD along.
Congratulations..
Yes the strutter is deadly this time of year when you can locate a bachelor group of Toms. It's kind of ironic to see this thread as I sat this morning until 11:30 trying to do this exact same thing on a group myself but they were a no show today. The last week of December and first week of January here in IL has been really good to me in the past.
Congrats on some great hunts! Thanks for sharing the info.
Congrats!!! Looks like good times.
Work hasn't allowed me to travel this fall to hunt, but I love to turkey hunt this time of year. No fall season in AR in recent years and I miss it.
congrats and a big thumbs up :icon_thumright:
