Last year at the NWTF Convention, I spoke with Brad and Dave Smith about if it might be possible to make a gobbler in a breeding position over his breeder hen. Don't know what they might come up with this year, but sure would like to see one.
That would be fun to see!

Here's a freebie tip for anyone who already has a DSD jake and hen.
You can drill a hole in the back of the decoy so the stake goes through the large pvc hole in the hen, and you can put the stake for the jake decoy through it. The jake decoy sits almost perfectly on top in a breeding pose. It works for the breeding hen pose, but works for the upright hen just as well. The hen sits flush on the ground with the jake on top.
I've had several toms come charging in to that setup.

Man you may just end up making me spend some more money! I also hope to see some pics.
For the sake of my wallet I hope not. I finally pieced together a flock last year before season.
I'll try and dig them out and post some pics. It really couldn't be any simpler and adds a new twist to your setups. I'd set them up like this all the time, but I rarely even take the decoys because of the bulk, and the majority of my hunting is run and gun from first light on.
I'll get some pictures taken when the ground loosens up a bit, hopefully next week.
It was 3 degrees here, so without a jackhammer, I'm not getting a stake in the ground.
DSD will not be at the convention this year, posted on their website.....
