Anyone done any patterning with an M2 12ga and Winchester Longbeards? I bought a pack of the #5's yesterday, hoping to pattern it sometime soon. I've got a Hevi-Shot Hevi-13 turkey choke in from last year. Its a .667 I believe.

The Hevi 13 choke is .662
I just went and looked. It has .667 printed on it.
The long beard shells with #5 shot ought to shoot very well out of that .667 choke. I shoot a Briley .665 and the patterns are awesome.
Shootin 6s out of a 665 or a 650..dead turkey's for days
We have shot them in 650,660 and 665. They like the 4's and 6's never did like the patterns we got with the 5's. Now they would kill a bird but I look at the over all pattern and the 4's and 6's was the best looking.
Shot my SBE2 with a 650 Rob Roberts and longboards #5 and 6 with good results. Actually likes the 5s the best with it

I'm shooting both of the Hevi-Shot chokes, ported and non-ported with different exit diameters, in the "Turkey Choke Evaluation Project" with WLB shells and the Benelli 12 gauge "Crio" barrels.
Please "stay tuned" for my results.
Thanks,
