Digging thur my blanks the other day to do some stabilizing first is dyed stabilized maple burl ,,,second is dyed stabilized black ash burl ,,,these I went light on the color just wanted to highlite grain ,,,,,,,good figured walnut

I think you did right keeping the tone natural. The grains look great in these. I'm old school and natural clear coatings or naked is top shelf.

Thank you for the call mike, I believe mine is the third picture down in this group. It looks better in person and sounds even better. I hope to post a pick of it next to an Osceola in about 8 weeks. You do beautiful work. My son loves the red oak ceramic as well.
