Seems like this time of year I am going over all my gear and shotgun equipment thinking towards next season. One thing I think I may improve is taking off an inexpensive Red Dot from my Stoeger 3500 and adding a Weaver Kaspa 1-4 power camo turkey scope. I've got a 935 set up with Tru Glo Magnum Gobble Stopper Pro Series iron sights, and Ithaca 37 Turkeyslayer with Tru Glo turkey red dot and this would give me a shotgun option with a scope.
What's on everyone else's "Wish List"?????
More calls. I'm a call junkie.
New leafy jacket
Sent from the Strut Zone
Couple of moisture wicking long sleeve Ts, a couple or three boxes of Fed HW #7, NR tags for a Mo, Ks, and maybe somewhere else, gas $$$$.
Everything I can get in MO bottomland!
Im switching to not wearing a vest because I carry to much stuff and sweat. Im going with a good tenzing fannypack and scaling down on carrying so many calls. I did buy a sweet pair of uninsulated Meindl boots.
Id also highly recommend Sitka gear its not cheap but for moisture wicking and quality it blows away UA or anything ive ever bought from Cabelas
First lite Kanabs in Fusion, try a few more short boxes out. Could use a good shirt in bottomland or treebark camo something thats not cotton and maybe ripstop.
Ed Jenkins glass call
Burris FF3
DSD jake and hen
The ghost maker being most important.
Good question. Probably different calls.
Should have my hands on my new Winchester 20 gauge by the end of the day.
That, a good choke and some HW 7's. Maybe a new facemask, I think mine was about gone by the end of last season.
I will come out of hibernation one day before the season starts and check...
-Some new mouth calls to add to my stock pile
- New tripod for my camera
- Rubber boots for my SC hunting trip
- and at least one new SS Custom calls pot call.
I've already picked up two boxes of Long Beard XR shells and of course a few turkey hunting DVDs.
God bless

More trumpets and boxes. Just got a new Vinci and put an EOTech on it. Last but not least, lots of gobblers with a death wish!!
Hmmm, let's see.....
a couple of BeardHunter boxes (long box and his new single sider)
a snakewood over holly hen box from Richard Hudson
a snakewood trumpet from MKW
trying to kick the call-buying habit. we'll see how that goes
need a new pair of lacrosse alpha burlys uninsulated but looks like they have been replaced by the "pro" line
This post did me some good....remembered I left my web seat under a tree one day last season during a quick move and I lost one of my favorite custom pot calls and striker....need to replace these.
Some new boots. My Rocky's have leaked their last straw.

I like the new stuff just wish it was easier to find and had more variety!
Just ordered new dymondwood striker from lights out calls. Lost one last year after taking a bird. Would like a copper call. Just can't decide who from. Either a Larry gresser or a lights out.

Just use your smart phone that way not only can you control every function on your go pro you will then have a view finder to see what your frame looks like.
Probally pick up a couple of Ol' Toms camo items, a vest maybe.
New pair of pants and shirt in Bottomland, try a few Longbeards to see if they are any good, a couple mouth calls and I should be good.
Sumtoy is installing a set of Williams Fire Sights on my H&R single shot. Its factory dipped in original Bottomland, and can't wait to dial it in with the sights. This upgrade should make it the perfect spring turkey gun for toting around the big mountains.
Always had to float the single bead just a tad, but soon those days will be over.

Just have jimmy tote your gun
IWOM suit. But, it's mostly because I've gotten tired of being cold in the deer stand. It'll probably never see the turkey woods. Still excited to get it though! ;D

Gonna be a little hard for him to do that since you're wearing his boots...

Paboxcall post a pic when he gets the sights on. I've always liked those guns but never knew how to put sights on them. How does that thing shoot?

I patterns very well with a Jellyhead .660 and Hevi 13 3-2-7s. The H&R and my 1300 have the same thread pattern, so both the choke and the loads are interchangeable.
Recoil is massive, this little 12 ga. H&R lacks the heavy barrel you get with a 10 ga. and its chambered for 3.5" shells, but I do not shoot those anymore. The 3" is plenty on both ends! :z-dizzy:
New Avian-X hen decoy (not sure which pose is best), and hopefully a steady grip stock for mt M3500 if money agrees with me before May.
New boots, my Lacrosse's are about wore out!
I already posted once but I'm really wanting a SBE II
New gear for '15 (compliments of Santa):
- Pair of Muck Fieldblazers
- Walnut over Butternut box call from Mr. Paul
- Couple boxes of Hevi-13 3 in. #6s
- pair of Howard Leight earmuffs
Also seriously considering one of those sweet cluck and purr pots from Sadler McGraw.
Applied for my Michigan permit this morning. Come on April 20th!!
well where do i start...
