It seems like anyone that knows anything about the energy in the HTL 7s would just buy straight 7s. I'm a lead guy myself but they will probably market it and sell tons of it. I can see the magazine reviews on the crushing lead 5 power and the HTL 7 pattern coverage already. People will buy anything lol

There are some new loads being evaluated. With the high cost of tungsten, it would not be surprising if less of that material were to be put into tungsten-based shot itself and then shot charges supplemented with some other material like lead. Innovation can come as a result of cost of production.

Thanks,
Clark

The ones i saw were 3 1/2" and were 20 bucks for 5 shells in flight control wad.

So didnt see the value there.

I saw them at a trade show a couple months back.  I didn't pay them much attention simply because I saw "Lead"

Why buy a shell with hw 7 and lead 5 and loose pellet count with the 5 shot when the 7 shot hit as hard and penetrate deeper?

So some folks can save a couple of dollars.

Actually they are the same price as the old heavyweights at $25 for 5 of them
