At Plymouth Colony in 1621, the Pilgrims gather for a period of Thanksgiving, inviting the friendly Massasoit Indians who had befriended and helped them through that first hard year in the new world; and no-doubt, they broth-forth wild turkeys to supplement the other bounty of sharing.
As we turkey hunters are sharing this special day of thankfulness and counting our many blessings, now in 2014; I personally want to say publicly: The good LORD has blessed me in so many things and ways. Turkey hunting is just one of His blessing, which I am so thankful to have enjoyed. Not, just the turkeys, but all of the outdoors and His creations and creatures. Enclosing I would like to leave you with this verse:
"Let us come before His presence with Thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with praise -Psalm 95:2 (KJV))

Mr McClure, Just a line to say I too give Thanks each and every time I call in a bird. I thank the Lord for the ability to enjoy His Creation, this is a gift from the Lord. I enjoyed your book and found it interesting. In closing Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving , let your requests be made known to God.......... Just another Turkey Hunter Norm
