I went out scouting today and had some VERY good luck locating some birds. On the way home I saw these ole' boys out by a river so I stopped to take some pictures. I got within about 30 yards of em'. It really got my blood pumpin' :icon_thumright:

Shawn....I was in EASY shotgun range !!! If season was open it would'a been a done deal. I just tucked back in behind that cedar tree on the right and eased off....they never spooked.

Thats great! I scouted some birds yesterday and have good success too! The flock I saw had about 25 birds so I was thrilled. Although I wasn't as lucky (or good) as you...they spotted me from a loooong distance and got outa there. Will that affect them going back to that certain field in the future??

thanks for the pics.....so thats what they look for. i live in pa and been out tryin to locate them and had no luck at all.. its like they went to another state ??????? :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an
