Any guesses what this is?
Thanks,

Is it something Oxadiazon ?
Gun powder magnified 100X
Obola?
Saturated solution....
I have seen aluminum and lead do something like this, but my guess is molding sweet tarts :TooFunny:
Those are all good guesses but no one is on the money yet. Anyone else have an idea?
Thanks,
Clark

I had something growing between my toes that looked like that about 30 yrs. ago. It was a fungus, Kerosene cured it.

:o gross!
These are some good and very inventive guesses butt not quite there yet. Maybe I should start giving a few hints but I'd like to see if there are any more guesses first.
Thanks,
Clark
Frost flower was my first thought, but if it is magnified, I'm not sure.
Decorations left over from last year's Easter cookies
A new type of broccoli
Magnified snowflake?
Gman

Copper fouling ??
Time to reveal the answer. It's a chemical garden.
Doris and I prepared it for a presentation for our younger grandson's class when we read "Paul Bunyan" to them as a part of the reading program there. In the story, Paul discovers Mammoth Cave and all the crystals in it.
We made it using charcoal pieces, ammonia, bluing, salt and water according to the recipe that went along with the program. The kids loved it and frankly, so did I.
I really appreciate you all playing along with me on this and submitting all your great guesses.
Thanks,
Clark
