I woke up this morning to some good news,My dad and I were drawn for a limited hunt in california. Looks like Im driving for 9hrs and 54mins to hunt turkeys in one of the best turkey hot spots in california. Wish us luck! and hopefully I can put a few big birds down! YA hows that for being excited JAY! lol

A hunt with your dad is cool. Glad you both drew together. When is the hunt?
Its a two day hunt on April 2-3, cant wait should be tons of turkeys in the area.

I talked to the ranger for the lake and he said that there is lots of birds there and that the spring hunt is really good there. So hope we can connect on some birds that weekend.

Your hunting California April 2/3, and I'm doing Florida April 1/2/3. Now that's about as far apart as you can get for 2 guys on the same team at the same time ;D
LOL thats so true, and being that Im hunting in the extrem north end of the california even makes it farther too.
