Post by: chad fenton on October 11, 2014, 06:06:20 PM
Im in NC.  What would be my best bet to look into on the eastern side of country beside Florida(I go there every spring).  I have read alitle about TN.  Who goes out of state for fall turkey seasons and what your opinion.

I travel for spring gobbler but have never traveled for fall birds.  I might if I were rich, didn't have to work and had a good turkey dog.

I'm in N.C. too, but don't hunt turkeys in the Fall.  Virginia has a Fall season that shouldn't be terribly far from you to take advantage of.

We have no turkeys in VA  ;)!  All joking aside, our fall season is in now for archery and the gun portion comes in 10/25 and closes 11/7, reopens Thanksgiving day, then reopens Dec. 1 thru 27th, then reopens Jan. 10 thru 24th.
