Title: Carlson's Long Beard XR chokes
Post by: PALongspur on September 11, 2014, 03:20:32 PM
Has anyone had a chance to try them yet?

Saw them at a local store this week. As cheap as they are I figure they have to be worth a try.

Didn't know Carlsons made them. Let us know how they shoot. :OGturkeyhead:

Is this the choke that is specifically made for 4,5, or 6 shot? That is narrowing it down pretty specific when the tube is made for one specific shot size only.

I will be evaluating both the Carlson's and the Trulock LB chokes in the next few weeks, after the still target championships.

Trulock chokes are shot size specific. Carlson's are not.

Thanks,
Clark

Looking forward to these results, especially to see if the shot specific size makes a difference.

I am working on the article currently. I was able to spend a day at the range with a real variety of turkey chokes, including the Carlson.

Thanks,
Clark
