I got a pair last spring. For a snakeboot they are pretty comfortable. As far as durability i dont know yet. So far so good.

I've had the lace-up Bass Pro boots for six or seven years.  They lost waterproof after a year but they are comfortable enough.  I don't wear them much anymore, I went to a lighter, non-snake boot for most hunts.
But I still use them at least once per year and they have held up well.

I'm looking for snake boots as well and found cabelas boot on sale for$89. Reviews seemed good and might be worth checking out. I'm strongly considering them.

Every time a pair of snake boots gets rated on here, it's they were very comfortable, waterproof, held up for years, great price. I want to hear from the guy that had his on and got bit by a rattle snake and lived.

I had a pair once. They leaked from day one and rubbed my heel--I took them back and got a refund.

I bought a pair of the Bass Pro side zip snake boots this spring. I wore them daily for 3 weeks and found them both comfortable and waterproof. Sorry, no snake bite info.

Think I got about 3 seasons out of mine before they started leaking. Comfortable boots though. I've since bought a pair of Danner Pronghorns and have been really happy with them.

I had the same boot as Spring Creek and they didn't last one season before leaking.  I only wear them when I know I won't be encountering water.  Most of the time I wear Lacrosse Burleys.  Luckily no snake has tried to bite me to my knowledge and I am glad of that.

EVERY "waterproof" snake boot I've ever tried has lost their waterproofness  between 3 months to 2 years. The worst were the most expensive, Danners, leaked the FIRST time I ever used them. Rocky's sucked too. I use the Bass Pro (Redhead) boots, good price, good performance, and very comfortable. You can't go wrong with them.

I had a pair of the side zips had them for three years and they still don't leak. Not as comfortable as my danners but a good boot for the money

My wife has a pair of them and all I hear is how wet her feet get!! But, mine get just as wet in Rockeys!!! But, I'm not one that complains about wet feet when chasing gobblers because most of the time my pants are wet up to my knees too! Soles are another thing though! Got 2 pair of Rockys and 1 pair the sole came off of the first year, the other pair has 2 seasons on them and I'm wearing them daily now due to my line of work...still holding tight! My next pair will be Danners though!

Have a pair of Red Head lace-ups that are going on 10 years old and a gazillion miles.

They are still very water resistant.  Not water proof.  I didn't buy them to use as waders and as long as I don't use them in that capacity my feet will be dry at the end of the hunt.

As far as workmanship & materials, they have held up like Sherman tanks.
