I don't usually set stands until the end of September for our October 1st opener.  I did eye up my game camera today and will hopefully have it set out somewhere this week.

Well, I'm not ready for it, but I'm ready for it to be here. If that makes any sense.

I can't wait for it to be hear.  I never can.  But I'm still on turkeys. I can't help it.  I've tried to get over this years season but I can't.  I've bought new batteries for our trail cams, even done some welding on a ladder stand, but I just can't get in the mood yet. I go to sleep thanking about what I could have done different and what I could have done better, and then think about what I did learn.  But yes, I'm ready to chunk some beemans, I just need more time lol

Food plot work is underway, stands have started to go up, and trail cams are going out this week.
Can't wait to start compiling the hit list.

Bought a new trail cam yesterday... mostly just concerned about getting firewood cut right now though. Still need to plant a couple food plots and throw together a couple box blinds for my boys.

I can't wait. I've got a new 130 acre river bottom property to hunt this year so I'm counting down the days.
