Why will burris not make a metal protective shroud for the ff 3 .... I mean come on is it that hard to make one .... I guess I'm going to try and make one

If you make one I would think you would be kept pretty busy making them to sell, I have been looking for something better than the plastic cover.

I thought the general consensus on here was that they are tough as nails. Is a cover needed?

:)yes they are tough but a metal protector would be even better ...... I'm going to make a few if the demand is high I might start producing some ....

Are you talking like what was on the ff2 with the turkey track or the fan if so Id be interested also. The ff3 is bigger than the ff2 and will not fit on the ff3.
