New design. I can tell by the knurling. Not made by colonial arms.
Still a good choke. Remember the design never changed the manufactorers did.
Looks to be the same one that I use in my 835. Never shot 7s through it, but i get about 210 average with Hevi 2.25 oz #6s.
:morning:
This is gonna sound crazy, but if I buy this choke I'll buy another gun and I already have 3 turkey guns! Better pass on this... :(
I talked to a women at colonial arms inFebruary an she told me they were the original manufacturer for the star dot chokes is this not true?

Yes you are correct. Myself and Brad (I lIKEHEVI13)have also spoken to her
he is actually way more knowable on this and will probably chime in.
Anyway yes Colonial were the original makers of thw infamous stardot choke that patterns so well out of the Mossberg 835
At some point stardot went with a different supplier who in essence stole colonial design.
This is where I hope brad jumps in or you can do a search since there has been so many discussions about it.
I believe that PTC technologies started making them.for stardot. They are not a choke maker but rather something to do with the aeronautics industry.
Oh i see ok I thought I was misinformed if this woulda came up yesterday I'd bought this instead of a jelly head lol

Do you still have the choke for sale?
