Anyone ever shoot these before? I realize #4 shot isn't popular but for ten bucks I figured I'd try them...
Says 1450 fps, not that it really matters.
Think I'd try something around .670... :camohat:
I've got a Wrights 670 that did fairly well with #4 LB'S.
I evaluated these shells a couple of years ago and wrote a "Product Test" article about them. http://allaboutshooting.com/article_info.php?articles_id=575
They were not at all what I expected, as you can see in the article.
Thanks,
Clark
I think it was a repackaged waterfowl offering -- there are other more effective offerings up to and including good old lead

Interesting about the fouled barrel improving the patterns. I guess if you're forced to use non-toxic shot, and you're on a tight budget, they might be worth trying.
That's what I found to be the most interesting part of the evaluation. I know that some people hunt where only non-toxic shot can be used and this is an inexpensive alternative to other shells.

tried some of them last year, they are not worth the 10.00 I would not buy them, couldn't get them to come close to working in anything that I have
