Title: FFII Battery Swap
Post by: Jbird22 on May 12, 2014, 01:40:12 PM
I'm pretty sure I already know the answer but want to ask just to be sure;

Is it necessary to loosen the windage/elevation lock screws when swapping out the battery on an FFII?

Hmm...I never did.   But that could be why I have had to re - zero on 2 occasions.

Well, my thinking may be flawed but since all your doing is separating the unit itself from the base that loosening the screws wouldn't be necessary. Just my thinking but hopefully BurrisOptics will chime in just to confirm either way.

no just take the sight off the base, change battery and reinstall

Thanks! That's what I was thinking also.
