If you are talking about using CA for the exterior of the pot, you will need CA thin glue. You will have to sand it down before you apply the first coat to at least 800 to 1200 grit. Then you will apply the glue in thin coats, let it dry between each coat at least 12 hours, then sand it down again with 1200 grit. You should apply at least 3 coats making sure not to get any runs in the glue if you do sand it out. Then on your last finishing coat, apply it evenly then buff it on a cotton wheel, do not bear pressure on it as it will burn through your glue and you would have to start all over again, I think you should be getting the picture of how difficult it is to use CA glue for a finish, but patience is the key to a great long lasting finish.

I have yet to try applying a CA finish to one of my pot calls, however, I have CA finished a few duck calls and I found this 3 part video how-to very helpful.  A lot of this would cross over to CA finishing turkey calls.
