Title: Why Paul's Calls?
Post by: mudhen on May 01, 2014, 06:10:38 PM
They work for me  :)

This fat two 21 lb year old worked in with his brother from over 3/4 of a mile.

Now the flat lands of Kansas really help the call carry, but the birds really came in on a line, gobbling maybe 150+ times.  Shot him at 25 yards.

I have lots of calls, and use lots in the field, but I seem to such get good results with Albert's calls, so I'll keep buying them.  They take very little, if any, chalk.  The tone is clear and rich.

Most importantly, they prove themselves in the field, time after time...

That's all that matters. Congrats on your bird.

Because Albert's box calls are like Martin Guitars.  There simply is a difference.

I have played guitar for almost 2 decades an this comparison tells me I need one of those box calls..Hopefully they cost less  than a D28 martin:o

I've had one for several years.  A friend makes box calls and has given me a few.
One hunt he spotted my Albert Paul call.  He played it and said, "carry that one...they don't get any better sounding than that!"

Because they have feathers spitting out of them.

I ordered two more box calls from Albert this morning. His calls do what a turkey call is suppose to do, call turkeys.

I did not ask Albert how long it would be but with hunting season over his turnaround time is usually not very long.
