I've been lucky enough to find a bunch of gobblers in the right mood so far this year. After some tough trips to GA and OK I have really lucked out on some redemption in my home state. It's been everything from right off the roost, to 8-9 a.m., to 15 minutes before the 1 oclock shut off. Gobblin their fool heads off. Killed my two and watched 3 more die in between plus I called up 2 out of the 3 for these 3 brothers during youth season. We did one better this year and got 3 gobblers instead of 2 and a jake
Cool.
Fantastic!! Glad you got some redemption after a rough start. :icon_thumright:

Thanks guys. Funny story about Jackson, the middle boy that killed on about 9:45 during youth season. The night before we roosted a bird that was off the property line and across the creek. He gobbled his head off but I decided to stick to our original game plan. On our way out in the electric golf cart Jackson pointed where that bird was the night before and said "hey maybe that's the bird that I got". I said "I don't think so buddy, we were pretty far away from here". He replied with "yeah, he didn't sound as big as the one I killed either". :TooFunny:
way to go partner, love to see the jacked up kids.
Congrats!
