I have had a personal grudge match with this gobbler for two years. Over the past couple of weeks I have been putting serious pressure on him every chance I got. I came upon this awful site when I got back to camp—I guess he just couldn't take it anymore. One of us had to go.
R.I.P.
:TooFunny: Congrats to you on a great Tom.
Nice bird and I know what u mean about having a vendetta against a specific bird.
I like the tipped over chair, that wasn't lost on me.

Haha nicely done!!
Well I have been playing the game with a gobbler for the last 5 days and he won the battle, but not the war. Yesterday ,if I had a rope handy That would have been me and not the turkey. :-[
Congrats!!!
I've heard that is happening all over the country. Wonder if they need anti-depressants?
Congrats on the bird!!
Way to go. Nice turkey. .

Too stinkin' funny, Tom.. Congrats..
Did he leave a note?
Congrats!
congrats
Funny stuff! Been there...a couple years ago I thought I had finally met my match. Hunted that sob every day I could for the last two weeks of the season. Finally got him the last morning..he now hangs on my wall. Not a feather on his breast from breeding everything in the county. Some wouldn't have had him mounted because of it. To me he's the ultimate trophy.
:TooFunny: that's awesome. Congrats
:TooFunny: Awesome!
Congrats!
:TooFunny: Congrats Tom!
Did he leave a note? Lol

Good Job ! Gave him a proper burial I hope .

Great picture....love the kicked over chair! Congratulations...I had a grudge match going for 3 years on a bird we called Paintbrush...never did get him and we don't see him anymore...I really miss him. He would always hang back out of range and let us shoot a two or three year old tom...I think he saw too many buddies get smoked.
Congrats Tom ! Great story & Gobbler ! :icon_thumright:
