Title: 7 min arkansas hunt

Killed a nice one today with the 10 ga and HW's. It was my quickest hunt ever. Got got of church at 11. Went home and change clothes and headed out. I pulled up at my spot around 11:15 and got all my gear ready. Left from my truck at 11:34 I know this because the wife called me as I was leaving. Walked into where I thought they might be at as soon as I stepped in the hardwoods I heard one gobble. I sat down quick and pulled out the slate. Hit it a couple strokes and 2 birds cut me off. I barely got the call set down and seen blue heads coming fast. Shot the first one at about 40 yds turned him off like a switch. I walked out to get him and check my phone and it was 11:41. 7 minutes from truck to carrying a long beard. I was pretty pumped. 22 1/2 lbs 11 1/2 in beard 1 1/8 spurs. NEF 10ga HW #7

Man oh man. What took you so long... LOL. I think that may be a record, Congratulations on a great bird. See you have two trophies in the last picture. When the lil one is a few years older  turkey hunting will take on a whole new dimension .!!!

Thanks for the kind words guys. It was a exciting hunt for sure. I have been out of town all week working and im gonna get back after them in the morning. Maybe I can get his buddy.
