I am new to the forum and wanting to learn about these gobblers and having fun, at the end of the day just being in the field and close to nature is the best stress re-leaser, I might have questions so I hope not to be one of those guys "oh no not him again". Look forward to learning and sharing.

This is a pretty friendly forum. There are a few "purists" who like to give people hell for not thinking exactly like them, but for the most part, the majority of people here are very friendly, and very helpful. I think you'll like it here. Best of luck this spring Eddie!! :icon_thumright:
Welcome. Don't hesitate to ask any question you may have. You might get enough different answers to make your head spin, and they all may be right answers.
:welcomeOG: I'm not sure I'd call spring turkey hunting relaxing but I know what you mean. Enjoy the ride.

:welcomeOG: don't be afraid to look back at the older posts, I read every one of em when I became a member and learned a ton. Good luck this spring!!!
Thank you, I do have a question.
The fall turkey hunting, is it harder and do they have different patterns? I never tried the fall
hunting but want to see about it this year, I also hunt on public land.

Welcome to OG. Both fall and spring both present their own challenges. I find that the hardest part for me in the fall is to just find the birds. They will be there one day and gone the next.

Ah, interesting, thank you, I was thinking that they had a pattern in the fall. Here in Ks I believe you can use dogs never heard of that, so going out and scouting like in the spring time does not help and just to find them and set up then.

Great place to learn about everything turkey. :z-twocents:
