Anybody use a trough call? I just got one and it makes great tree yelps, purrs and clucks. I always have a hard time deciding what call to pull out first, especially when the bird is still on the roost. This one will be the first one out of my vest for the soft talk. Actually it will probably ride in my shirt pocket. This zebrawood over red cedar was made by Jimmy Schaffer.

I used to have a sweet trough call when I first started. It was handmade by a neighbor where I grew up. Aluminum surface and a charred end striker. I have not idea what happened to it, have not seen it in years. Need to get another someday
