Title: Yellow Head
Post by: Gumby on April 15, 2014, 05:43:22 PM
Any of y'all ever see a head like this. Bird my dad shot in Kansas. We thought it was pollen at first but it was a bright yellow coloring in the skin.

That's a Harlequin Turkey. Maybe he is a member of the Rainbow Coalition? Bet he got a lot of feather.  :z-flirtysmile3:

I have never seen anything like that before.

Nope, never seen that. A few years back, a friend of mine shot a turkey with white leg feathers. I took pictures and emailed them to Lovett Williams. With all the turkey oddities he's seen, he had never seen white leg feathers.
