Title: Best pot call case??
Post by: MikeStaten on April 15, 2014, 04:37:52 PM
My vest only has two pot call holsters so I'm looking for a few more to store my pot calls to protect them and prevent them from making noise in my vest pocket.  Suggestions?  Need them to fit typical sized pot calls such as Halloran's.

I borrowed (but quickly turned to stealing ::) ;D) two Rubbermaid 14oz containers from my wife's pantry. I threw some camo tape over them, paper towel in the bottom, add a call, cut out cardboard top for it bottom call, throw in another call & finish it the lid with another paper towel to keep the calls from banging around. I've been carrying two of them (4 calls) around in my vest for at least 20yrs now.

Whenever I come across the containers I buy them up for my sons to use when they are older. They work awesome :icon_thumright:

Someone suggested this and it works well for me. A camo can coozie. I buy them in bulk off ebay. 50 at a time. Nice protection.
