Title: called cabelas today.. check this out

called cabelas about gettin a new pure gold choke for my mossy 835.. they said your outta luck,. .. don't have any for my mossy. they are discontinued or flagged. wonder why this is??????? customer service couldnt give me any more info on this...they do have them for other guns but wont be gettin any more in..

Pure Gold has just gone through a change of ownership.  No change in the people making the chokes, just their backing.  They have assured us that their customer service will be better then ever.  However this may have disrupted their shipping and that may be what is going on with Cabelas.

There is no change of ownership Pure Gold LOL !!! Its good ol' Bill Davis {owner} as usual !!!!    any issues you are having with Cabela's is exactly that .... Cabela 's

Shannon it was Bill himself that mentioned it here a while back, but I guess his post got lost in the crash.  Maybe I misunderstood him but it was something he posted about something changing and he was excited because it would allow for better customer service.  Regardness, may have nothing to do with the Cabelas supply issue.
