Title: Tru-Glo shout out!!!
Post by: Dtrkyman on April 08, 2014, 06:45:43 PM
Broke a mounting screw on a universal turkey/deer sight Tg960, contacted Tru-Glo last week and today 3 new screws and two extra mounting brackets in the mail box!

Sight is probably 7 years old, they never questioned it, just sent me parts free of charge!!!

So if you need a sight grab a Tru-Glo!

will be testing that theory...good to know cause I had a choke swell up and not want to come out of my gun today...8 rounds total through the thing over a few days at the range.  I was just trying it out...shot pretty well certainly capable of crushing a turkey with the loads I tried so far.  Had to put the gun in a vise and use channel lock pliers and a rag over the choke in order to loosen it. When I did get it to loosen I still had to use some pressure to get it to come out of the barrel.  Had this happen once with a Patternmaster duck choke years ago in a Remington, I guess it's just a weak spot of steel in the tube...bad luck.  I always use choke grease on the threads to avoid them seizing up...not sure that would have factored in here anyway
