Great hunt this morning! My cousin and I heard quite a few gobbling on the roost and two flew down in the field and started headed towards us. We were trying for a double but they hung up at 50 yards and we couldn't both get on them. One came within 35 yards and I told my cousin to go ahead and shoot if he had a shot. Well he shot and missed. The birds flew off and we were discouraged and thought the hunt was over. After a few minutes we decided to get up and try another spot. Right as we stood up another turkey gobbled in the field behind us, and he was close! We sat back down and called softly once and he came running. I let the SX3 and Nitro H510H loose and he went down! We didn't get the double but at least we got one!
