Title: indentify my 11-87

I bought a used Remington 11-87 Super Magnum. It  Has a camo synthetic stock but its not s thumb hole.  12 gauge. it has true glow rifle like sights. the barrel measures 22 &1/2" . im trying to find out more information on the model. any help would be appreciated.

That is the original 1187 super mag SPS RSTG

Distinguishing features are

*The non-ventilated rib

*the raised comb on the stock

*the factory rifle sights

*the original mossy oak break up camo

That's a great gun.  My brother has one that has put down 30-40 birds and served him faithfully.

THERE IS A PH NUMBER IN REMINGTON WEB SITE U CALL AND GIVE THEM THE S. NUMBER AND THEY WILL TELL U ALL ABOUT THAT GUN ..

what he said. Some may find it hard to believe but turkey guns didn't always come with thumbholes or pistol grips haha. I like the classic style better myself

Thanks for all the information and kind words. Is there a place online I read about the "sps rstg"? I have been able to find anything yet.
