Title: Hevi 13: testing with new shells
Post by: Longshanks on April 06, 2014, 07:33:49 AM
Anyone done any testing with this years hevi 13. Just curious to know what the 3/2/6's, 3/2/7's, 3" Magblends and the 3.5/2.25/7's are looking like. The 3" shells seemed to maintain their consistency over that last several years even though the 3.5 were fluctuating. Hadn't heard any results this year. The places I used to buy them don't sell them anymore. I have couple of guns set up for them so I'm hoping to hear some good results.

I have been working with several guns the last couple of weeks, in between the monsoon-like weather, and patterns have been good and very consistent with all of the Hevi-13 shells I've shot, both 12 and 20 gauge. I've been shooting 3" shells exclusively and no Magnum Blends.

Thanks,
Clark

Excellent, I have a couple of guns that shoot the 3"/6's and 3"/7's and was hoping those were shooting well. Thanks for the info. Curious to hear about the 3.5"/6's and 3.5"/7's. My main turkey gun shoots these.
