Title: Traveling

Wasn't sure where to put this so I'm asking here. So what do most of you do when flying with your calls? Put in checked luggage? Bring on the carry on? Will that even let you carry them on? Thanks, Chief

Last year, on our trip to Kansas, I put my pots, strikers and diaphragms in a gallon size plastic bag and wrapped them in some clothes.  I put my box call in one of my boots with some socks as cushioning.  The calls made it with no ill effects going out or coming back.  We're heading to South Dakota the 7-12 of May and I'll probably do the same thing this time.  One thing I won't do when flying, is pack my Binos and range finder in my checked baggage, those go in my carry on.

You will need/want to check with the airline you are flying for specifics but I would put mine in the carry-on.

All of my pots are kept in pot call holders and box call in box call holders.
All of my calls stay with me in my carry on pack.  There are things that are replaceable and things that arent.  My calls fall into the irreplaceable  category.
