Title: Mississippi Hunt

Just moved to KY and really itching to get in the woods. I have some family land in north Mississippi. Thinking about driving down for a weekend hunt. How is the activity in that neck of the woods?

My friends in Alabama have gotten 9 between two guys so that seems pretty good. I'm going down there Saturday for 5 days or so and they say should be really good when I get there. If that's any help.

In central Mississippi it's been off and on. One day nothing next woods blowing up with gobbles. Dogwoods are starting to bloom and generally that's when turkeys around here get right. This morning they started gobbling at 0615.

Looks like the weekend might be pretty wet so might just sit tight and scout the hunting opportunities that I have around Lexington. Save the 7.5 hour drive to Eupora for another weekend. Thanks for the info.
