That's awesome pappy.thats above my pay grade though. Lol. I challenge all boxcall makers to build a Sitka spruce and cedar paddle call. Something other than the norm. It will test your patience and your box call tuning skills.

I recently gave a guy you know the exact dimensions of a Dan Wittenberg Red Cedar over Sitka Spruce longbox. Dan makes a killer call in this combo. I figured your buddy had nailed it by now. ;D ;D
Yep that sitka spruce is a pain, had some sent to me from Ohio, Jack Wright sent enough for me to mess up two boxes with LOL. I got some German Beech wood that is a troublesome wood to work with too, made one box sent it to Pennsylvania and the young man killed his first bird with it. Never made another one from it though, got plenty if anyone wants to try their hand at it.
