Title: Missouri Gobbling
Post by: turkey harvester on March 28, 2014, 09:34:05 AM
The birds are starting to get fired up here in southern Mo. Heard 3 this morning and they were hot. Anyone else hearing any?

I heard 2 last Friday. Not real fired up but it's only gonna get better. I'll be after it hard this week coming up.

Hope they are fired up this weekend. Hunting south of LOZ. Maybe the hens will be winding down and get them old toms fired up.

Hunted the first 2 weeks in Texas and Shannon counties. It was a tough go, wind, rain, wind, wind, and snow. Best day I count 6 birds. All were pretty Qt after hitting the ground. 4 of us killed 5 birds.
